Starving!

Just an FYI to all you mommies out there determined to lose your stubborn baby weight, nursing and going on a very low carb (the only one you can eat is low sugar fruit) diet is not fun!!! I'm sooo hungry, I'm very thankful I have people doing this with me...I don't think I would make it on my own! 


Thats all for now... my head isn't working hahaha! Day one is the hardest right?  :D

Northern MN shivers!

Well, I guess winter has finally arrived!! I do believe it stored up all of the days that should have been moderately cold and smacked us in the face it -42 with windchill! Days like today and tomorrow remind me of how blessed my family is to have a warm home, food on the table, and blankets to cuddle up in. It's also days like these that remind me how desolate winter can be, and how long the days are when there isn't much sunshine! THANK GOODNESS for Snow and it's beauty! 


On a random thought, Have any of you ever felt like you need a full time housekeeper? My house is driving me bonkers :) 19 1/2 month old girls who are extremely busy ALL day long don't help this feeling one bit! Guess someone had to take after me right? :)

The Joy of a Child

To all the mommies out there: How easy it is for all of us to forget the little things that make a child so happy! The Joy it is for a mother to see the light in our children's eyes when they get a slice of apple or get to color with their own color crayons. 


The Lord has blessed me so much today seeing the sparkle in Ana's eyes over these things, her joy bubbles over and lands right into my heart :) 

Even when the days are hard and those little smiles are crabby little frowns, remember God has blessed us all abundantly! We might get frustrated, angry or just plain discouraged, none of us are perfect and we never will be. We are not alone, we will always have the Lord, and people to lean on. 

Laundry, Laundry, LAUNDRY!

I have an incredibly LARGE amount of laundry that I should be folding, washing, and putting away. I started with folding because I didn't complete my 4 loads that needed folding yesterday....I was just to tired! How in the World do such little people create SO MUCH laundry!? I know how Jordan and I do it....when 3 pair of pants fits in one load! Ok, maybe more then that but, it seriously feels like it sometimes.


Wish me Luck! If you never hear from me again, you know I was buried under this never ending pile! 

Why am I blogging?

Truthfully, I have no idea why I am starting a blog :) a few weeks ago I was told I should start one and kind of passed it off as just another thing that could take up my time. So what was the deciding point? It all happened when Ana decided to throw one of her rare but crazy extreme screaming fits! I got to thinking about blogging again and maybe, just maybe it will keep this stay at home mommy sane during these long winter months.
